This river experience primarily in the Mana Pools National Park offers the best value for the time spent on the river in terms of both scenery and amazing wildlife.
This combo trip runs through the same area as the Island Trail but ensures we spend additional time on the ground in Mana Pools area, exploring the various water holes and back roads in the park on the final day of the safari.
These trips start and finish in Mana Pools. This safari operates out of a static fly camp in Mana Main Camp where 3 activities Mana is most well known for are conducted. These being Day one - canoeing along the Mana shore line targeting the multitude of channels off main stream, Day two - game drives, Day three - walks. The order of these activities may be changed to suite weather conditions or game sightings in the area.
A superb trip, full of wildlife and wilderness adventure. And, almost as scary, a classroom full of 6 year olds.
The unhindered exposure to the Zambezi River and its wildlife made this an excellent trip. The guides made an otherwise impossible trip possible.
